I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to amend the Law with reference to the Falsification of Accounts,

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

This is simply the English Act 38 Vict. C.24, enacted in this Colony, as I found it was not in force here, though required.
